Last night, the British Embassy in Podgorica organized a send-off for five new winners of the Chiving scholarship. This year's scholarship holders are: Enes Tahirović (Kingston University), Katarina Vukadinović (University of East London), Albana Bikaj (Queen Mary University and London University), Vasilije Grgurević (London University) and Milica Boreta (Bath University).

"The Cheeving Scholarships are awarded to individuals who demonstrate the commitment and potential to become future leaders in their communities. This prestigious scholarship enables young professionals to improve their knowledge and skills at some of the UK's best universities, which is a key contribution to their further professional development and positive changes in Montenegro and beyond. In addition to financial support for one-year master's studies, scholarship holders have the opportunity to network with leaders from around the world and engage in various academic, professional and cultural activities offered by the Chiving community," the embassy announced.

Chargé d'affaires at the embassy Sara Pilbim said that Čivning offers the opportunity not only for scholarship holders to experience "excellent British education", but also to spend a year abroad and develop skills in a quality international environment. She added that the scholarship combines higher education with the development of leadership skills, along with networking with professionals from around the world. "Čivning has helped create leaders in many sectors, such as politics, civil society, justice, banking, policy research and development, gender, human rights, arts and culture," Pilbim concluded.

The British Embassy announced that the Chiving program contributes to strengthening ties between Montenegro and the United Kingdom in the field of education and innovation of "future leaders, at a time when Montenegro is intensively working on European integration." They said that the scholarship holders have a unique opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skills that will help them further develop their careers, while strengthening relations between the two countries.

The deadline for applications for the new generation of scholarship holders is open and lasts until November 5. The embassy invited all those interested to follow their accounts on social networks for more information about the application and the opportunities offered by the program.
