Podgorica has a large number of business premises in almost every neighborhood and some of them must be given to pensioners, said the candidate for mayor of the Podgorica list, Andrej Milović.
"It's time for Podgorica pensioners to get their own clubs where they can drink coffee and tea at symbolic prices, socialize, talk and read newspapers, and spend their retired days with dignity.
As the mayor of Podgorica, I will do my best to create pensioners' clubs in every district of the city, to show gratitude to pensioners and care for those who created this country and built the city," Milović said in a statement sent to the media.
In addition, he promised that the city will issue special cards for pensioners, which will allow them discounts for services provided by Podgorica, which will include all cultural and sports events in the city, as well as transportation and other services provided by the capital.
"Podgorica must return the debt to the pensioners - let's return Podgorica to the citizens," concluded Milović.
