The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced that they received confirmation that none of the 163 elementary schools in Montenegro organized the departure of students and teachers to the reception of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
"We ask all social actors in Montenegro to contact the relevant ministry before reaching conclusions, which, as before, will take all measures within its competences, with the aim of objectively informing the public and protecting the integrity of the educational process in all institutions on the territory of Montenegro," the announcement states.
Yesterday, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) called on Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to announce the criteria by which, as they stated at the time, teachers and students of Montenegrin schools who attended the reception with the President of Serbia were chosen.
Vučić spoke yesterday in Belgrade at a reception for students and teachers of primary schools and presidents of municipalities from Montenegro and the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska, on the occasion of September 15 - the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, which will be celebrated in Serbia from 2020 and RS.
