Director of the Monstat Statistics Directorate Miroslav Pejović said that the results of the population census will be published on October 15.
Pejović, in a guest appearance in the RTCG daily, said that the software was completed, as was the revision of the software code.
"Now the software is being tested, and after that the software will be put into production on October 1. Citizens will be able to check the data until October 7," Pejović said, reports the RTCG portal.
By October 1, Monstat will match the data with the register from the MUP and complete the last stage of verification.
The population census was carried out in December 2023. According to preliminary results published in January, 633.158 inhabitants live in Montenegro.
The number of households, apartments and settlements is also known, and the Census Act requires that all subsequent data be published as final.
