The President of the Municipality of Danilovgrad, Aleksandar Grgurović, announced that, after discussions with the locals, who gathered this morning in front of the local self-government building, an agreement was reached in which the burial of cows euthanized due to cow fever will be additionally provided.
"The place of burial of euthanized cows is deep, it is located outside populated areas and outside water source zones, in addition, the burial was carried out with the use of large amounts of disinfectants, but in addition to all of the above, additional security will be provided," the announcement states.
After the discussion and the agreement reached, he adds, the road to Studen was unblocked and the locals dispersed.
Grgurović points out that he understands the concerns of the citizens, but emphasizes that "each step in this process is taken care of".
He adds that digging up buried cows will not happen, because in that case it would enter the zone of criminal responsibility and that the infection could spread in that way.
"As it has already been emphasized several times, this is being taken care of extremely and responsibly in this situation," he adds.
"We call on the public to be understanding in this very sensitive moment for all the citizens of our municipality, considering that no one at this moment will be guided by anything that could in any way endanger the health of citizens and the environment," it concludes. in the announcement.
