The previous campaign and pre-election promises clearly show us that vulnerable categories of citizens, both in our city and in the entire country, will continue to live on the margins of society, far from the interests of those who are supposedly fighting for a better life for all of us, assessed the candidate for councilor of the Movement tenants in the upcoming local elections in Podgorica.
He said that everything seems to prevent the dignified life of a third of our citizens, who barely make ends meet, struggling with the daily challenges of poverty and uncertainty.
"This is more than a clear indicator of the inhumanity and lack of understanding of the future holders of responsible positions towards the real problems of citizens. Those who should ensure a better life for everyone, persistently ignore those who need help the most", Živković is convinced.
He points out that this is why the tenant movement has focused on these vulnerable groups.
"Our goal is clear: all our energy and strength are directed towards the real, material improvement of the lives of our fellow citizens, along with the fight for social equality. Makeup of the city and empty promises will not improve the socio-economic position of the people, nor will it solve their everyday problems.
On the contrary, with this approach, our most vulnerable fellow citizens are further marginalized, while they are openly told that they are not the subject of interest of those who are preparing to make key decisions," Živković pointed out. He said that the tenant movement will continue to fight for a fairer society, in which everyone will have the opportunity for a dignified life, not just the privileged.
"Because true change begins with caring for the weakest among us," he concluded.
