We have concrete solutions to solve numerous challenges in the heart of the city, we will work on innovative projects aimed at relieving traffic, improving the city's infrastructure and regulating communal disorder, as well as relief for businessmen, promised Boris Mugoša, candidate for mayor of the "European Union - Boris Mugoša (SDP, SD, LP and citizens) - Podgorica for example".
He met with the citizens in the center of Podgorica, where he said that a lot of things needed to be done urgently, and that immediately after September 29, the implementation of the entire set of activities in that part of the city would begin.
Mugoša, as stated in the press release of this list, pointed out that the European Union knows what the key challenges are, that is, the problems, stating the huge problem with traffic, parking lots and communal disorder.
"We have concrete solutions, and these solutions primarily relate to the reconstruction of Trg Balšić, where we will insist on an underground garage that does not burden the infrastructure, and above that garage we will have green areas, walking paths and certain contents from the domain of cultural and social life. Another thing is the communal mess, through a better organization of communal services we will influence that this part of the city truly represents Podgorica," he said.
According to Mugoša, the plan is to abolish many levies that burden businessmen.
"A very important thing, given the fact that there are many small and micro entrepreneurs, we have foreseen the lowering of local taxes by 50 percent and the abolition of many levies that burden the economy," said the holder of the list of the European Union. He added that cultural activities are also extremely important, and that Podgorica must be the center of cultural life.
"That's why we envisioned an action that combines the field of culture, but also the field of environmental protection, that is, the need to have clean air in this part of the city. That's why our action or activity is called the culture of clean air. It foresees that every weekend in there is no traffic in this part of the city, and instead, exhibitions, shows, street concerts, workshops and various other performances and activities that will gather citizens, where citizens will be able to rejoice, rejoice and where they will be able to breathe clean air", Mugoša said.
He also emphasized the need to promote local performers and revive the center with various cultural and artistic events in cooperation with restaurateurs.
"Very important, related to micro and small businesses, for numerous catering establishments, we will very often organize various events on the streets of Bokeška, Njegoševa, Hercegovačka, etc., where the Capital together with restaurateurs should organize various concerts and festivals, where we will also promote local contractors, so that part of the city would live in the true sense of the word," said Mugoša.
In the end, he called on citizens to give their trust to the European Union in the elections in Podgorica.
"I am sure that on September 29 you will give enormous support and trust to the European Union, that you will round off number 3, and we guarantee you that the very next day, together with you, we will change Podgorica for the better," concluded Mugoša.
