At today's session of the Board of Directors of the University of Montenegro, Milivoje Radović was unanimously elected as the president of that body.
Radović thanked for the trust shown and pointed out that it is a great obligation and responsibility to be in the position of president of the Board of Directors of UCG.
As it was announced, he expressed the hope that, together with the new convocation, he will continue the same dynamics that the previous board president Rajka Glušica started with the previous convocation together with the rector Vladimir Božović at the head of the University.
"We remain committed to the common goal - increasing the recognition of the University of Montenegro on the international scientific map. Together we will build a mosaic of success, to the benefit of both the University and Montenegro," said Radović.
At the session, the 15th convocation of the UCG Board of Directors was constituted, which, in accordance with the Statute of that university, has XNUMX members. The management board consists of five representatives of the founder - the Government, six representatives of academic staff, a representative of associates, a representative of professional and non-academic staff, and three student representatives.
The representatives of the founders, appointed by the Government, are: Milijana Novović Burić, Anđelka Šćepanović, Milena Burić, Nikola Zečević and Saša Roćen.
Representatives of the academic staff with an academic title, elected by the UCG Senate, are: Milivoje Radović, Nevena Mijajlović, Srđa Aleksić, Drago Perović and Vuk Vuković.
The associate representative is Jovana Janinović, while Sekule Raičević is the representative of professional and non-academic staff. Students are represented in the Board of Directors by Vedran Vujisić, Ivana Popović and Aleksandar Banjević.
Also, at the session, it was confirmed that the mandate of the members of the previous, V convocation of the Board of Directors had expired, and the mandate of the VI convocation had officially begun.
When it comes to personnel issues, the procedure for the election of a new dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering was started today, due to the expiration of the term of office of the current dean, Marina Rakočević.
"The competition for the selection of a dean is published in the Bulletin of the University of Montenegro and in a daily newspaper published in Montenegro. Applications for the competition must be submitted within 15 days from the date of publication of the competition in a daily newspaper published in Montenegro," the announcement concludes.
