Success is the result of perseverance and continuous work on oneself, and small steps lead to big goals, Rector of the University of Montenegro Vladimir Božović told the freshmen, congratulating them "on their decision to become part of the academic community and create a better and safer future".
Božović welcomed the freshmen to UCG and reminded them, as reported by the PR Center, of the "importance of thinking that success is the sum of small efforts that are repeated day after day".
"This principle is the key to achieving big goals and realizing big dreams. Let this be your guide in everything you think and do," said Božović.
He encouraged the students to "dream big", but to build them step by step, because "it's the small steps that lead to the set goals".
"They remind us that success is not always the result of a revolution, but much more often of perseverance and continuous work on oneself. In the coming years, you will be expected to dedicate yourself to learning and personal development, and we will be there to recognize and support your talents, to encourage you in the challenges that await you and to provide support on the way to achieving your goals," emphasized Božović. .
He believes that students write new pages of history and create a better and safer future.
"Success does not depend only on lucky circumstances and opportunities, but is the result of persistence, effort and determination to overcome challenges. So be brave, dedicated and passionate in your intentions. Be patient and believe that every small step you take today is part of a bigger path to your success tomorrow. Welcome to the University of Montenegro and good luck to you," concluded Božović.
