The journalists of "Vijesti" television are the winners of the first prize for investigative journalism in 2024 for the story "U mutnim voda" by Tatjana Ašanin and Nikola Milosavić Aleksić, which is awarded by the European Union at the European House in Podgorica.
The first place is shared by two stories, so Svetlana Ðokić and Milica Babić also won the first prize for the story "Massacre of Responsibility".
The second prize was won by Ðurđa Radulović from the Center for Investigative Journalism (CIN) for the story "No one checks the purchase of prohibited pesticides".
Third place went to Andrea Perišić, also from CIN, for the text "Smuggling of archaeological treasures of Montenegro".
The jury consisted of Olivera Nikolić, Mileva Malešić, and Branko Čečen. They said that the choice was very difficult, because a record 47 applications were received at their address.
