The Day of Internal Affairs of Montenegro is celebrated on Wednesday, October 2, and congratulations have arrived on that occasion.
The head of the club of deputies and general secretary of the Democrats, Boris Bogdanović, congratulated the members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Directorate on a happy Internal Affairs Day.
"As a society, we should be grateful for your work, courage and professionalism that you show every day in order to maintain public order and peace, as well as preserve the safety of our citizens. In the previous period, the security sector showed its desire to achieve the goal, which is an uncompromising struggle against organized crime and corruption, as evidenced by the historical results. This is an opportunity to remind ourselves of how difficult and responsible work you do, of the self-sacrificing struggle you lead to protect the constitutional order, as well as the security of our country, the property of legal entities and individuals. dedicated and selfless, you show the true face of the police, which puts the safety of citizens first. In 11 months of work, over 600 members of criminal groups were prosecuted, as well as a large number of former state officials, every criminal offense was solved as a result of the crackdown on organized criminal groups, except the last one. over 4.700 crimes were registered, and over 96% were solved, and all attempted murder crimes were solved, nearly 1.000 kg of narcotic drugs were found and seized, over half a million euros worth of cigarettes were seized, completely new patrol vehicles, new all-terrain vehicles, 2 state-of-the-art interceptors, the installation of stationary radars began and the control of the policemen's lifestyle and property began, which is more than enough indication that it is a decisive fight against organized structures within the system and society," said Bogdanović.
