Laušević resigned from the post of director of IJZ

Director of the Institute for Public Health (IJZ) Dragan Laušević has resigned, "Vijesti" has learned.

The same sources claim that the new head of IJZ could be appointed already at tomorrow's Government session, and that Dr. Snežana Barjaktarović Labović, head of the Department for Science, Projects and International Cooperation at the Institute, is mentioned as the most serious candidate.

Laušević was appointed head of the IJZ in January. Previously, Igor Galić resigned, after a series of articles by "Vijesti" about his assistant Miljana Pavličić, who worked and advanced in the IJZ for years on the basis of a falsified diploma.
