Discover miracles at every step", "With a new day comes new strength and new ideas", "Left my heart in Kolasin", "Don't wait for time, it will never be 'right'"... these are just some of the messages that the guests of Kolasin, but also those who live in that city will be able to read on the streets every day from now on.
"Signposts" with quotes, wisdom, "instructions" for everyday life, but also contents whose focus is love for Kolašin and promotion of tourist potential, have been placed, for now, in Buda Tomovića Street. There will be them, they announce from the Municipality, in other locations as well.
The service of the President of the Municipality, the service of the chief administrator and the local Tourist Organization (TO) are responsible for this new content in the city center.
"Office of the President, Chief Administrator Lidija Lašić and director of the Tourist Organization Zorica Milašinović during the past period, they worked on designing new tourist facilities in our city that will beautify the inner city core. Following the example of numerous tourism metropolises, which have road signs that usually show the distances between cities, we came up with the idea that our "road signs" carry messages that tourists will remember. That's how we started by placing road signs in Buda Tomovića Street, and they will also be placed in the lower town square and Mirka Vešovića Street," she said. According to her, the contents of the "road signs" are diverse, so there will also be those that are messages about life, friendship, travel, education...". The goal, says Šuković, is for "everyone to find a message for themselves, according to their affinities."
Part of the texts are written in English, and it is, he explains, about "universal messages and those that present Kolašin as a modern tourist destination with traditional hospitality".
The Office of the President of the Municipality invites fellow citizens to contribute with their ideas and suggestions to the enrichment of the contents in the city center. They remind that last months the furniture was restored, and traditionally, this summer Kolašin was also recognized as the "city of flowers".
