Prime Minister Milojko Spajić congratulated the members of the Jewish community on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, which, he said, mark the beginning of new challenges and hardships in the spirit of justice, solidarity and reconciliation.
Spajić wished the members of the Jewish community to spend the upcoming days in peace, while preserving traditions and nurturing customs.
"On behalf of the Government of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I heartily congratulate you on the upcoming Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, holidays which, in the spirit of justice, solidarity and reconciliation, mark the beginning of new challenges and hardships," Spajić said in his congratulatory message.
As he added, by enriching ourselves, we enrich the overall environment.
"Grateful for everything done for our common home, we will strive to make social relations even better and promote human freedoms and democratic values even more strongly," Spajić said.
He added that they are proud of all religious and national communities, which sincerely perceive Montenegro as their warm homeland.
"Trying to spread tolerance, dialogue and mutual respect, I once again congratulate you on the big holidays," Spajić's congratulation reads.
