Bar Municipality President Dušan Raičević announced that the local self-government will send financial and human assistance to Savnik.
"The Municipality of Bar will provide financial and human assistance to friends from the Municipality of Šavnik, since the territory of this municipality suffered the greatest damage in the floods that affected the entire region these days," announced Raičević.
He said that in this way he will contribute to the repair of the damage that occurred as a result of the weather disasters and that resulted in the entire villages in the Šavnica municipality being completely cut off.
"On behalf of the citizens of Bar and on my own behalf, I am telling our friends from Šavnik that, although they have not received adequate help from the state so far, they are not alone in this accident and that we will protect the lives of citizens and repair the catastrophic consequences of the storm with united forces," he concluded.
