The Ministry of Defense will continue to work on improving the conditions for the work and life of Montenegrin soldiers, in order to build a stronger and more modern army together, said the relevant minister, Dragan Krapović.
In his congratulatory message on the occasion of Army Day, he said that this day is an opportunity to acknowledge and thank all those who bravely serve Montenegro, protecting its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Krapović said that the Day of the Montenegrin Army is not only a symbol of Montenegrin warrior tradition and heritage, but also a reminder of what soldiers, as guardians of peace and stability, do every day.
He said that in recent years the world is facing many obstacles and insecurities, which further emphasize the importance of the army in maintaining security.
In this context, according to Krapović, the role of soldiers is becoming increasingly important.
"I assure you that the Ministry of Defense will continue to work on improving the working and living conditions of our soldiers, in order to build a stronger and more modern army together," said Krapović.
He said that the Ministry is developing training programs, modernizing equipment and working to strengthen the social and material status of military personnel.
"It is our obligation to ensure that all of you have adequate resources and support so that you can perform your work in the best possible way," added Krapović.
As he stated, it is important not to forget the families of Montenegrin soldiers, who are often silent support and support.
“Their strength and understanding make your mission easier and more successful. In this sense, I would like to express my special gratitude to all the families who stand by you and support you at all times", said Krapović.
He wished the soldiers to celebrate Army Day with pride, because, as he said, they are the ones who make the difference.
Krapović said that courage, discipline and commitment of soldiers are values that inspire.
"Let a sense of pride and responsibility for everything you do guide you. I wish you much health, happiness and success in future challenges. Continue to be an example of courage and loyalty", said Krapović.
