Alida Radončić, a master's student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Podgorica, was awarded the prize for the best student paper on the topic "Dignity at Work", announced the "Doctor Branko Mihailović" Foundation.
The foundation said that on the occasion of the International Day of Dignity at Work, a ceremony was held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro to present the Award for the best work of the "Doctor Branko Mihailović" Foundation.
"On the occasion of the International Day of Dignity at Work, the 'Doctor Branko Mihailović' Foundation organized an award ceremony for the best student paper on the topic 'Dignity at Work'. This prestigious award was given to Alida Radončić, a master's student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Podgorica, for her exceptional work that promotes workers' rights and dignity in the workplace, while the other participants of the competition were presented with certificates of appreciation," the announcement states.
The "Doctor Branko Mihailović" foundation said that the commission tasked with choosing the best paper consisted of renowned legal experts, including Bojan Božović, Minister of Justice, Branislav Radulović, President of the Association of Lawyers of Montenegro, Marko Dokić, full professor at the Faculty of Law of the UCG , and Đura Nikač, assistant director of the Human Resources Administration and head of the human resources management sector.
"Their expertise and objective approach made it possible to choose the work that best reflects the fundamental values and goals of the Foundation. The 'Doctor Branko Mihailović' Foundation strives to inspire and motivate law students and young lawyers to actively engage in the study and improvement of labor law. The award was presented by Radulović, who emphasized the importance of continuous support for young lawyers in their academic and professional development.
"Ms. Radončić's work, which includes a comprehensive analysis and proposals for the improvement of legal practice related to dignity at work, will be published in the Legal Collection of the Association of Lawyers, in addition to the monetary award awarded by the Foundation. This ceremony is particularly significant because it is held in the context of the International Day of Decent Work , which is promoted by the International Trade Union Confederation, representing the interests of 181 million workers around the world.
