Ljiljana Kadić, a longtime professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, passed away the day before yesterday after a long and serious illness.

Kadić was born in Sarajevo, where she completed elementary school. She graduated from the "Slobodan Skerović" high school in what was then Titograd, and graduated from the Faculty of Law in Titograd in 1975.

She is the author of several books and papers, participated in several regional and international conferences, worked on projects, and completed several study stays.

She also graduated from the Diplomatic Academy at SMIP in Belgrade in 2000-2001.

She was ambassador of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) to Cuba on a residential basis, and to Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic from 2001 to 2003.

She also taught at the "Gavro Vuković" Diplomatic Academy in Montenegro.
