Montenegro will take all the necessary steps to start harmonizing with the EU Regulation - Digital Services Act (DSA), which entered into force this year for EU member states, in order to regulate the way in which large online digital platforms (( VLOP) relations to users, data and responsibilities.

The statement added that she thanked Kurk for the clarifications regarding the ways of communication between the state and VLOP, and the part of the state's responsibility.

She clarified that the MKM administration is working on the formation of a Network for the fight against misinformation and hate speech, "which we see as one of the key mechanisms for combating these threats".

In the conversation, the modalities of direct communication between the Ministry of the Interior and METE for Central and Southeastern Europe were established.

The MKM stated that Kruk introduced Vujović to the mechanisms and rules that META adheres to in terms of reaching disinformation.

"Together we share responsibility for a safe online space and behaviors in it. We will try to catch up with global practices in this field," the meeting concluded.

MKM said that this meeting was part of Vujović's official visit to Berlin, and on the occasion of his participation in the Civil Society Forum as part of the Berlin Process.
