Daily Press doo and Domena.com donated the CMS operating system to the Faculty of Political Sciences today at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro (UCG). UCG Rector, Vladimir Božović, said that this is a very significant event for the University.
"Through this donation or software, students of the journalism department have the opportunity to implement some of their activities in practice."
"This is very important for practical activities during studies," said Božović and thanked the companies Domena.com and Daily Press.
The executive director of the independent daily Vijesti and Television Vijesti, Marijana Kadić Bojanić, said that quality journalism in the 21st century represents the highest respect for journalistic standards, the ethical code, and the eternal search for the truth, but also the use of modern technology.
"This is the reason why we wanted to donate these softwares with our partner, so that the students would master practical knowledge with the help of their professors, and so that they could move from the academic world to the professional world as soon as possible. What the students can learn is how to make a newspaper , i.e. traditional journalism, but they will also learn how to make portals. I hope that the students will create a university portal and that we will soon receive an invitation to launch that portal," said Kadić Bojanić.
