The Directorate for Capital Projects has announced a tender for the selection of a contractor for the construction of a new school in the Tivat settlement of Lastva, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) announced.
The department said that the estimated value of the works is EUR 1,36 million.
"The project is being implemented on the basis of a memorandum signed between the MPNI and the Municipality of Tivat, from December last year," the announcement states.
It is added that the project was developed by the Municipality of Tivat, while the money was provided from the capital budget.
The Ministry indicated that the construction of an elementary school in Tivat is foreseen by the Reform Agenda of Montenegro 2024-2027. year.
"In this way, the burden will be relieved on the existing extremely burdened school infrastructure in this city," the announcement states.
