The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regional Waterworks, Zoran Lakušić, visited yesterday the works on the construction of the new boulevard on the Tivat - Jaz section, i.e. the new pipeline DN 700 of the Regional Power Supply, which is laid along the route of the new boulevard on the stretch from the HDL Laković supermarket in Radanovići to the Tivat Airport.
As the Regional Waterworks announced on that occasion, most of the pipes on that section have been laid, but due to intense rainfall and a high level of underground water, the works have been significantly slowed down, which has led to difficult working conditions.
"Although the rainy conditions caused delays, it is expected that in the coming period the quality of the works will be improved and the dynamics of the implementation will be accelerated, in order to meet the deadlines defined by the dynamic plan of the contractors. The need for the application of all prescribed protection and safety measures at the construction site, along with the execution of works in accordance with the project documentation, was emphasized," said Lakušić during a tour of the construction site.
In parallel with the construction of the pipeline, which is being built by the Podgorilka company Indel Inženjering, works are also being carried out on the boulevard Kloje by the company Bermax, which, as Lakušić points out, will enable better connectivity between the settlements and improve the flow of traffic.
He said that these projects will significantly affect the quality of life of the local population, while achieving sustainable management of water resources.

The length of the section of the Jadranska magistrala from Tivat airport to Jaz, which is the subject of reconstruction into a boulevard, is 16 kilometers, and its route passes through the territory of three municipalities - Tivat, Kotor and Budva. The reconstruction of this section includes the construction of a boulevard-type road, which will have two carriageways in the direction of movement (total: 4 x 3,25m), sidewalks on both sides (total: 2 x 2m) and a dividing strip (2m), along with a new pipeline of the Regional Water Supply should be built in order to improve the water supply in the three municipalities of Bokele.
In accordance with the requirements of the EBRD bank, from whose loan funds this project is being financed, which is being implemented by the Administration for Intermarriage of Montenegro, the Chinese consortium Shandong Foreign Economic & Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd & Shandong Luqiao Group Co Ltd, whose the offer amounted to 53.915.261,77 euros without VAT.
The agreed deadline for the completion of the works is two calendar years from the introduction of the contractor into the work.
