"Pink October" campaign: Women to use the opportunity for preventive examinations and mammography tests

The Health Center of the Capital City announced that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and other health institutions, on the occasion of the national campaign "Pink October", they are launching activities to raise awareness about the prevention and early detection of breast cancer.

They said that the campaign aims to inform the public about the importance of early detection of the disease, because timely diagnosis and adequate treatment can significantly increase the chances of cure and recovery. They invite all women to take advantage of the opportunity for preventive examinations and mammographic examinations, because, as they pointed out, every woman is responsible for her own health.

Preventive examinations for women over the age of 40 will be performed at the Health Center of the Capital City, where women from Pljevlje, Žabljak, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Cetinje, Zeta, Tuz and Podgorica will have the opportunity to use the mammography service.

Also, women aged 50-69 from Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Cetinje and Kolašin will be referred for digital mammography at the Clinical Center through the screening program.

It is important that every woman feels supported and informed, and that she knows how important it is to have regular examinations. Our community can become healthier. if we work together on these issues, we contribute to the better health of all women in our community by spreading awareness," said the Capital City Health Center.
