The representative trade union organization of the Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG) announced that the president of the RTCG Employees Union, Jadranka Drobnjak, directly supported "absolute lawlessness" in that public service.
They say that, after the meeting of the commission formed to review the representativeness of their trade union organization, they received a request stating the reasons for initiating the procedure from the president of the RTCG Employees' Union.
"The reasons that decide us to submit this request are reflected in the existence of a well-founded suspicion that this trade union organization does not meet the special condition prescribed by Article 10 paragraph 1 of the Law on Trade Union Representativeness," the document reads, as stated in the announcement.
"As we, unfortunately, assumed, President Drobnjak is not disputing the numerous illegalities carried out, repeatedly by court decisions, by the illegal Director General of the Public Service, which also affect the membership of the trade union she chairs, but the number of members of the Representative Trade Union is disputed. The request was sent a few days ago after the sudden, unclear statements of some of our members, all under the influence of the 'well-intentioned advice' given to them. The problems of workers, unclear staff transfers, threats of layoffs, numerous mysterious plans for the famous 'systematization' are out of focus, but that's why she is clearly doing well. management, perhaps directly, in the project to destroy the Representative Trade Union Organization", added the union.
They told RTCG general director Boris Raonic that, as they claim, pressure on the work of the union by the employer, "directly or through 'advisors'", is a criminal offense.
"It remains unclear whether, after the farcical election of the general director of the Public Media Broadcaster (as we are called now, according to the new law), Mr. Raonic signed a new contract, or, of course, he is still the CEO, which, surprisingly, Drobnjak, the trade unionist, is not for verification. We are in dispute We, who check the union colleagues, directly supported the absolute lawlessness in the RTCG. In the end, we say, several times, that the pressure on the work of the union by the employer, directly or through the 'advisor', is criminal. Admittedly, the public is already aware that breaking the law is not a problem, and the obedience of 'subjects' has something to maintain.
