In the area of the municipality of Mojkovac, several projects are coming up or have been completed, which should lead to a significant improvement of the traffic infrastructure.
This is what he claims for the President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) Marko Janketić.
As he told "Vijesta", the Uroševina-Lepenac road with a length of 2,7 kilometers and Prepran-Štitarica with a length of 1,7 kilometers was asphalted.
"By improving the road infrastructure, we enabled easier functioning and contributed to a better quality of life for our citizens. We contribute both to the development of agriculture and to the development of tourism in the local communities of Lepenac, Tutiće, Štitarica and Podbišće. Asphalting of the 14-kilometer road from Štitarica to the church of St. Vasilij Ostroški-Ružica on Sinjajevina has been completed, which opened up the most spacious mountain in Montenegro for more intensive development of animal husbandry and made it available to more and more tourists," says Janketić.
According to him, for decades, the previous authorities did not listen to the problems of the locals, so there was a long wait for those projects. The improvement of the road infrastructure, as he explains, is a prerequisite for the survival and development of the Mojkovac municipality.
According to Janketić, work is also being done intensively on projects related to the future Mojkovac ski resort.
"Tenders have been announced for the construction of a bridge over Tara on the section of the Mojkovac-Lubnice road, the construction of the section of the road from Vrioci to Žarski, and also a tender for the construction of a parking lot, a ski shed and a restaurant for the needs of the Mojkovac ski resort in the amount of over eight million euros," he says. .
This, explains Janketić, "will be a key step towards the implementation of the ski resort project on Bjelasica, which is of strategic interest to the municipality of Mojkovac".
