The police blocked the road, the euthanized cows were buried again in Ljesko doli

Euthanized cows, which died due to cow fever, were buried today for the third time in Ljesko doli near Nikšić, "Vijesti" unofficially learns.

Earlier today, the police again blocked the road towards Ljesko doli.

Cows were buried there for the first time in September, as well as last week, when three locals who tried to prevent the removal of the euthanized cattle were detained.

The president of the Council of the Bogetići Local Community, Mijajlo Škuletić, said that the police did not allow the locals to pass, and that he was afraid, as he says, that there would be big trouble.

"We learn that a truck with cows passed the police, but that the road collapsed and that the truck is now at a standstill, and the police are not allowing the locals to pass," said Škuletić.

Đoko Dragićević, whose cottage is located near the place where cattle are buried, said that three trucks with infected cattle and a loading shovel passed by and that he did not know what to do.

"They chased me away from the estate. Let them come to Bogetiće to take what I have and bury it there," said Dragićević.
