HRA: Democrats to explain why they did not provide school police officers

We call on the Democrats to, instead of attacking the court, explain what is within their competence as executive authorities - why all this time since they have been in power, and for a year that their staff has been the Minister of the Interior, they have not provided school police officers, which HRA requested as well as directors of schools in Podgorica, it was announced today from the Action for Human Rights (HRA).

From that non-governmental organization (NGO), they reacted to the announcement of Democratic Montenegro, in which, among other things, it is stated that they are not against judges and that they do not exert pressure, but that they will not be silent about anomalies in the judiciary.

HRA said that they always warned against unfounded pressures on the court of any authority.

"We point out that, for example, on the subject of inappropriate pressure on the court alone, we criticized the former DPS government at least six times, as evidenced by our announcements available at website. The Democrats are the party in power and have a special responsibility to respect the independence of the judiciary and human rights and must not arbitrarily attack the court simply because it does not detain people and children as punishment. As for the criticism that we did not react to the position of the opposition MP, when the Democrats join the opposition, we will follow their positions less," HRA said.
