At the session of the Prosecutor's Council, consent was given to the Rules of Procedure of the Code of Ethics Commission, which enabled the initiation of the procedure for the selection of new members of this Commission, the institution announced.
As stated in the announcement, the commission monitors the application of the Code of Ethics of state prosecutors and gives an opinion on whether certain behavior of managers, that is, state prosecutors, is in accordance with the code.
"At the session, consent was given to the by-laws that regulate the internal operations of the State Prosecutor's Office and the framework criteria for determining the required number of state prosecutors and civil servants and employees in the State Prosecutor's Office. The members of the Prosecutorial Council also adopted the Rulebook on the variable part of the salary for employees in The State Prosecutor's Office also gave consent for the establishment of a 'case management' system in the State Prosecutor's Office," the announcement reads.
"On the agenda was also consideration of complaints about the work of state prosecutors and heads of state prosecution offices in terms of the legality of their work, it was assessed that two complaints were founded, while six were unfounded, and one was partially founded," it concludes.
