In Spičanska Street in Sutomor, the works on the installation of modern public lighting in a length of over 600 meters have been completed. As part of this project, a total of 21 pillars equipped with modern LED lamps were installed, which significantly contribute to energy efficiency and better illumination of this area.
This was announced by the Municipality of Bar and added that new lighting was also installed at the Elementary School "Kekec" in a length of about 350 meters where 11 new poles were installed.

"In addition to the installation of lighting, the works also included the excavation and laying of the power cable, along with the rehabilitation of the approach to the buildings along the road, which further improved the accessibility and functionality of this part of Sutomore," the announcement states.

As they said, the total value of the works is almost 53 thousand euros, and they were realized jointly by the Municipality of Bar, LLC "Communal Activities" Bar and the Local Community of Spič-Sutomore, and assessed that this is just one in a series of activities to improve the quality of life of the locals Sutomora.

They reminded that in the previous period, the Municipality of Bar implemented a project to modernize public lighting on the route of the Jadranska magistrala from Kufin to Vidikovac, worth almost half a million euros.
