Saved Doctor Tursumović while he was waiting for his conviction

Lojo told "Vijesti" that he defeated the attacker, which was confirmed by several sources of the newspaper.

Lojo says that he was in the waiting room, with other patients, waiting for his turn to be examined in the neighboring office, because he needed a medical certificate in order to apply for a job, when a nurse ran out of the office calling for help.

Without thinking about the consequences, Lojo claims that he ran into the doctor's office where he found doctor Tursumović covered in blood and a man holding a knife to his throat. He says that the attacker offered strong resistance while trying to take the knife from him. When he succeeded, he claims that he knocked him onto the hospital bed, and that two other guys came to his aid.

He also says that he then called the police...

"While I was waiting in the waiting room with six or seven other people from the neighboring office where doctor Tursumović worked, a nurse ran out calling for help. She said that someone attacked Dr. Turusmović with a knife. Without thinking, I ran into the doctor's office where I found a man holding a knife to the throat of the doctor, who was covered in blood. I moved towards the attacker, grabbed his arm and somehow snatched the knife from him. He offered strong resistance, it seems to me that I have never seen a stronger man. I knocked him down on the bed. Two other guys came to help. He was yelling and telling us to let him go... We held him until the police came," Lojo told "Vijesta".

He says that he still hasn't recovered from the shock and what he saw that day and that Doctor Tursumović was seconds away from death.

"My hands are still blue from the fight with the attacker, and at one point the blade of his knife was near my stomach. At that moment, I didn't even know how Dr. Tursumović was, nor did I notice when he was taken out of the surgery. I just remember that the doctor was covered in blood. Later, the hospital's security came."

Lojo says that he came to the hospital that day to get a medical certificate, because he intended to apply for a job as a driver at the Old People's Home in Pljevlja, even though he is an economist by profession. He decided to take that step because, as he says, he had not been able to find employment in the profession for years.

Tursumović was seriously injured in the attack and is being treated in the surgical department of the Pljeval hospital.
