On the initiative of the President of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, Nemanja Vuković, councilors and municipal managers, who took part in the work of today's 23rd session of the local parliament, are wearing a pink ribbon on the occasion of Pink October - International Breast Cancer Month.
"The Nikšić Municipal Assembly sent a message that we all have a role to play in this important fight - from raising awareness of the importance of prevention to providing support to those facing this disease. As a society, we must be united in promoting health and the importance of preventive examinations, because early the detection of this disease drastically increases the chances of a permanent cure," the press release states.
