The director of the Secondary Vocational School in Pljevlja, Bojan Strunjaš, sent a request to Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to help solve the problems of the Ada Sports Center in Pljevlja, where physical education classes are also performed by students of that educational institution.

Sports hall Ada in Pljevlja stopped providing its services to users two days ago, due to the lack of working conditions caused by the accumulated financial and other problems they face in their work.

The municipality and the Government of Montenegro have been given a deadline to resolve the situation in the hall by November 15, when if they fail to do so, they will radicalize their protest.

"With the closure of the Sports Center 'Ada' in Pljevlja for 700 students of the Pljevlja Secondary Vocational School, physical education classes have become impossible. Namely, our school, as one of the largest schools in Montenegro, has been facing the problem of lack of a gymnasium for decades. For the last few years, with adequate financial compensation, we have used the gymnasium of the Sports Center 'Ada', which is located in the immediate vicinity of our school, and which is managed by the Municipality of Plevlja and the Ministry of Finance. Through excellent professional cooperation with the management of the Sports Center 'Ada', we provided our students and professors with ideal conditions for physical education classes. Due to the carelessness of the entities that currently manage the Sports Center 'Ada', our students have literally remained on the street since Monday (November 4 of the current year). They were denied a fundamental human right - the right to education. For the reasons stated above, I am addressing you on behalf of our students, active physical education teachers, but also on behalf of all the children from Pljevlja who are actively involved in sports, to use your authority to advocate for an urgent solution to this problem and to find a permanent solution for the management of the Sports Center. Ada', so that we don't end up in an unpleasant situation", stated Strunjaš in the Request addressed to the Montenegrin Prime Minister.

He asks Spajić to provide funds for the construction of the gymnasium of the Vocational High School in the next year's budget.

"I am using this opportunity to ask you, as the director of the Secondary Vocational School, to provide funds for the construction of the gymnasium of the Pljevlja Vocational Secondary School in Bušet for the coming year 2025," said Strunjaš.
