Several uninvited persons entered the office of the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva, Jasna Dokić, in which she invited the director of the Budva Tourism Organization, Nemanja Kuljača, yesterday, in order to agree on the program for the public reception of the New Year in front of the walls of the Old Town, and there were also insults, as a result of which meeting and adjourned.
This is written in the minutes, which Vijesti had access to, and which Dokić delivered to Kuljač immediately after the meetings, thanking her for the initiative, and suggested that a new meeting be held in the next two days, or that the Tourist Organization itself will bring the New Year's program, which has already been conceived and submitted to the Municipality, so as not to cause damage to the city and the tourist economy.
Immediately after yesterday's meeting, the acting (acting) city manager Marijana Božović announced that the meeting was unsuccessful, and accused Kuljača of the proposed program and the fees of the proposed stars, but also invited the citizens to propose the program by November 15.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the meeting that you organized on the occasion of the preparation of the New Year's jubilee reception at Trg šilkara in Budva. As I told you today, it is the jubilee reception, on the occasion of 25 years since the first reception, which gives us all an additional obligation that the reception be at an even higher level than in the last few years I attended, unfortunately, a meeting that marked the entry of uninvited persons into your cabinet as vice-president of the Municipality of Budva, so that in the end at least three persons who were not invited and were expected to attend the meeting, which all brought a very painful atmosphere," Kuljača said.
As he emphasized, "unfortunately, the reputation of the Municipality of Budva, at least among those of us who attended the meeting, has been lowered to the lowest possible level, which really disappointed us as representatives of TO Budva".
"I do not know in what capacity Mrs. Dragana Kovačević and Mina Jablanović Mićević attended the meeting, as well as Mr. Miroslav Vujović. The same dilemma, considering the topic of the meeting, applies to the present Ms. Marijana Božović and Nevenka Jovanović Božović. Unfortunately, the meeting passed even in insulting us from TO Budva as well as in the pressures to agree to the execution of a criminal offense in the sense of accepting to file false documentation about the illegal committee of the Executive Board hours, as long as I personally lead this Organization, we will not agree, under any kind of pressure, as was the case today, to abuse our official position through the production of illegal and unlawfully created documents, etc.," emphasized Kuljača.
He stated that Aleksandar Brković also attended the meeting.
"However, it was not explained to us in what capacity and with what specific responsibilities he attends the meeting and what he has to do with the organization of New Year's Eve. I pointed out at the meeting to you and all colleagues present that it is completely acceptable for us that the persons who expressed a negative comment on the proposals of the contractors and the agencies that represent them and the prices, Ms. Marijana Božović and Dragana Kovačević, will submit the best prices and offers to you so that you and I can consider it at the new meeting of the Municipality of Budva and TO Budva the Municipality of Budva declares within two days at the latest about the proposal of the program and participation in the organization of New Year's Eve, since there is no more time to wait and the proposed contractors will find new engagements, and there is a real possibility that this will have a negative impact on the quality of the program." emphasized Kuljača.
However, as he pointed out, if the Municipality of Budva, within the next two days, does not declare its participation in writing, TO Budva will, in order to fulfill the work plan, and in order to protect the interests of the city of Budva and the tourist industry and citizens, independently implement all the necessary actions.
"TO Budva, after the expiration of the two-day deadline, will conclude all necessary contracts in accordance with the current program and Statute. Contrary to various media insinuations, TO Budva independently provided all the funds, and to raise the quality of this jubilee celebration, in case of refusal to participate by Municipality of Budva, we will address the tourism industry and partners. TO Budva will continue to emphasize the logo of the Municipality of Budva and the importance of joint work in all places, as was the case until now in the direction of building the best possible image of the municipality of Budva and its tourism industry. I am asking you once again to urgently organize a meeting on the above-mentioned subject, which will contribute constructively to this topic," concluded Kuljača.
As Vijesti found out, To Budva has more than 850 euros in its account, and another 300 is expected by the end of the year, which is more than enough money to organize New Year's Eve, as well as to pay off all obligations to the workers, but also to enable normal functioning of this organization.
