Work has begun on the adaptation of the schoolyard of the "Mirko Vešović" High School of Economics in Podgorica, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced.
As announced, the line minister Anđela Jakšić Stojanović visited the works, the value of which is 174.514,59 euros, and the deadline for completion is three months.
It is added that the funds were provided from the capital budget.
"The adaptation will include works on the construction of the road with the associated parking space, as well as the adaptation of the existing open sports field with the associated lighting. The adaptation of the multi-purpose sports field used for handball, indoor football, basketball and tennis on the existing asphalt surface is planned. the installation of a new floor covering, the construction of a protective fence around the field and the acquisition of sports equipment (handball goals, tennis nets with poles, benches) are also planned," the announcement states.
"The project in question showed that with the cooperation of the school that created the project, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation that provided the funds and the Capital Projects Administration that implemented the procedures, in a short time we can achieve a significant improvement both in terms of usability and arrangement, as well as in part of the security of the school yard, which for the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation is the most important aspect of this project," it concludes.
