The representative of the European Union and member of the Social Democrats (SD) in the Assembly of the Capital City Miloš Mašković said that five days ago Prime Minister Milojko Spajić "misled the citizens and said that there will be no increase in the price of water".
"Today, on the initiative of the Mayor of Spajić, Olivera Injac, an extraordinary session of the Assembly of the Capital City is scheduled for a 41 percent increase in water prices. This is all you need to know about the politics of the Europe Now movement and their manipulative economic program that offends the intelligentsia," wrote is Maskovic on the X network.
He added that in the recently held elections in Podgorica, the citizens "told not to be deceived, since they left the current irresponsible Podgorica government, led by the PES, in a large minority".
"Of course, we will not allow an increase in water prices because the outgoing government does not have the legitimacy to make such decisions," Mašković concluded.
