Due to the Podgorica Millennium Run sports event, from today until November 10, traffic will be temporarily suspended on several city roads in Podgorica, it was announced from the Capital City.
The Millennium Bridge will be closed from tonight at 19.00:10 until Sunday, November 19.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX.
On Saturday, November 9, Ivan Crnojević Boulevard, from the Milenijum bridge to Ulica slobode, will be closed from 10 a.m. to noon, due to the organization of a large children's race.
Sunday, November 10:
In the period from 9:50 a.m. to 13:50 p.m., traffic will be closed from the Milenijum bridge, through the underpass to Maslini, then from Voli to Zagorič, across the tracks, Nikola Tesla Street, then the continuation of the II Montenegrin Battalion, all the way to the Vezir Bridge.
In the period from 10:10 a.m. to 14:20 p.m., traffic will be closed from the Vezir bridge along Serdar Jola Piletić Boulevard, over the Millennium Bridge, 13. Jula Street to the roundabout near Dan, Moskovsko Street to St. Petar Cetinjski and from Freedom Street to George Washington Boulevard.
In the period from 10:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m., traffic is suspended from Cetinjska Road, across 21. May Boulevard to Farmak, the bridge near Dahna, 8. Marta Street, Union Bridge, Revolucija Boulevard, then Ivan Vujošević Street to Svetog Petra Boulevard Cetinjsko and Ulica slobode.
In the period from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from Ulica Kralja Nikola, along Bulevar Crnogorski Serdara to Union Bridge.
"Please note that during the duration of the event, from 10:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m., transit from the direction of Kolašin to Cetinje and Bar will be possible via Vili Brant Boulevard. Transit from Nikšić to Kolašin will be available for cars, trucks up to 3,5 tons and buses to 21 places via Smokovac, and further towards Cetinje and Bar via Bulevar Vilija Brant. Traffic via the Luča bridge, the Oro roundabout and Kokota will be regulated in alternating directions", they pointed out from the capital.
They asked citizens to use alternative means of transportation on Sunday, November 10, from 9:50 a.m. to 16 p.m., and for emergencies, they noted that they had created an interactive form to make it easier for passengers to find their way around.
"This form covers all settlements in Podgorica and road routes leading to KBC and the main highway routes to Kolašin, Nikšić and Golubovci airport. Traffic to Cetinje takes place over the Luča bridge (Golubovci airport direction)", the capital announced .
They add that the route is passable from the Princess Xenia highway, Vilija Branta Boulevard through the Stari aerodrome, to the Golubovci and Bar airports and over the Luča bridge to Cetinje.
