Rmandić: Employees in positions of responsibility in railway transport who do not meet the requirements of the regulations

There are employees in highly responsible positions in Railway Transport who do not meet the conditions required by: Rulebook on organization and systematization of workplaces, Rulebook on determining workplaces where workers directly participate in the performance of rail traffic, Rulebook on professional training of workers who directly participate in the performance of railway traffic and the Rulebook on health conditions that must be met by railway workers, stated Mirko Rmandić in front of the non-governmental organization "Vozom kruz Crna Gora" in a letter delivered to the Minister of Transport Maja Vukicevic.

He said that these days, according to their knowledge, new timetables are being prepared, contrary to the new regulations, and warned that failure to comply with the provisions of the positive regulations endangers the safety of passengers, employees and property of companies in the railway sector.

"Some of the jobs are related to the safety of railway traffic. The competent controller of the Internal Control Service in ŽPCG requested the removal of these irregularities from the former executive director and the chief republican inspector for railway traffic. The irregularities have not been removed. They are still present". the letter states.

The NGO "Vozom kruz Crna Gora" said that they will use all available means to organize the railway sector as required by current regulations.

"The experience from the case of the election of the executive director of ŽPCG gives us hope that you will use your authority to eliminate the current irregularities as soon as possible and prevent new irregularities," Rmandić concluded.
