The Kolasin Tourist Organization (TO) and the Cultural Center announced that the next two weekends are reserved for ethnic music, dancing and sevdah. As announced by TO, today at 19:XNUMX the fifth festival of ethno-groups and soloists "The dragon flies over the sea on the Danube" begins.

"Groups from Zlatibor, Đenovići and Plužine will participate in the Festival. A novelty at the festival will be the performance of KUD 'Mijat Mašković' with dynamic dance choreographies, and the female singing group 'Đude' is also unavoidable. After that, on Saturday, November 23, for the first time, we will have an "Evening of Sevdah" in our city. The original trio Milena Rondović, Viktorija Tatić i Daso they lead us into the world of the famous and lesser-known Sevda girls. With the sounds of the accordion and the beautiful voices of our Kolasin women, we believe that everyone will enjoy it", said the director of TO Zorica Milašinović.

The concerts, she says, are the result of active cooperation between TO and the Center for Culture, all with the aim of affirming local creators, as well as enriching autumn events in Kolašin.

In the last few weeks, TO has been actively working on goals related to the valorization of Sinjajevina. As Milašinović says, through the Ministry of Tourism's incentive measures project, they finished cleaning and marking four hiking trails: Gusar, Gradište, Jablanov vrh and Torna. The total length of those trails is 30 kilometers, and promotional brochures with QR codes have been prepared for that part of the offer. Info boards for those trails are also being prepared.

TO also completed new signage for the existing hiking trails in the city's surroundings, and a new route leading from the city center to the village of Trebaljevo was additionally marked. As Milašinović explains, these initiatives aim to bring hiking even closer to visitors and enrich the offer of Kolašin with activities that can be enjoyed in the immediate vicinity of the town.
