They discussed the transformation of the Police Academy into a higher education institution

A delegation of the BKA University of Applied Sciences from the German city of Wiesbaden was on a three-day visit to Montenegro, and the central topic of discussion with representatives of state institutions was the transformation of the Police Academy into a higher education institution, as well as the improvement of existing programs with the support of the BKA

They met with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Police Directorate and the Police Academy.

During the final day of the visit, a working breakfast was held with Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranović, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Peter Koprivica and Secretary of the MPNI Marko Šljukić. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Germany, Peter Felten.

At the meetings, a detailed plan of activities to be carried out in the following period was agreed upon, in order to improve the quality of education in the field of security, based on the Agreement between the governments of Montenegro and Germany on cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, youth and sports, which the minister Jakšić Stojanović signed in July with German Minister Katja Kojl, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced.
