The municipality of Pljevlja allocated around 37 thousand euros to non-governmental organizations for projects aimed at improving the quality of life in the northernmost Montenegrin municipality.
The organization of the blind for Pljevlja and Žabljak received 4.873 euros for the project "A sighted companion for the visually impaired", the Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities "Ray of Hope" for the project "Providing licensed social and child protection services in the local community" 5.859. NGO Pljeval cheese - project "Protection and valorization of Pljeval cheese" EUR 5.916, NGO Legalis - project "Let's buy Pljeval products" EUR 5.344 and Humanitarian association "Sveti Sava" - project "Helping the elderly in Šula settlement" EUR 5.904.
The NGO for a healthy and green Pljevlja received 4.320 euros for the project "Let's bring back old crafts to Pljevlja", KIBO - Creatively innovative future of youth for the project "Smart Class - Your digital classroom" 3.914, the Association for the Development of Gradac - project "Active support for proper psycho- physical, social and cultural development of children in the Municipal Health Center Gradac" 845 euros.
The President of the Municipality of Pljevlja, Dario Vraneš, thanked all non-governmental organizations that participated in the competition, believing that these projects will contribute to the development of Pljevlja and solving important social issues.
