The Union of State Prosecutors' Offices of Montenegro announced today that it is reacting strongly due to the statement of the General Director of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG), Boris Raonic, given last night in the show "Accents", in which he stated that the prosecutors who worked on the case in which the indictment was filed proposal against the president and members of the RTCG Council had close contacts with organized criminal groups.
"The Union of State Prosecutors' Offices respects the right of any citizen to express a critical opinion regarding the work of every state prosecutor, including criticism of the general director of the RTCG, however, we point out that this criticism must be based on verified facts and information, and not lump-sum assessments, which obviously aim at damaging the reputation and personal and professional integrity of the acting state prosecutor, as well as the integrity of all state prosecutors in the prosecution organization, who perform their work, just like the acting state prosecutor honorably, conscientiously and in accordance with the Constitution and the Law," states the announcement of the Union of State Prosecutors' Offices signed by President Nemanja Bulatović.
