General Director of the Radio Television of Montenegro, Boris Raonic, accused the Vijesti portal of disinformation, even though the editorial team transferred the text from the RTCG portal.

Portal Vijesti last night downloaded the text from the portal RTCG (rtcg.me), which is also stated in our text. It can also be seen that the text on the RTCG portal was changed today at 9.54:XNUMX am.

Raonic, according to the RTCG portal, "speaking about the Basic State Prosecutor's Office, which filed an indictment against the president and four members of the Radio-Television Council of Montenegro for the appointment of the general director, Raonic pointed out that many people, even acting prosecutors in these cases , did some illegal things".

"The prosecutors who worked on this case had close contacts with organized criminal groups in a country that will enter the EU tomorrow," Raonic said, as reported by the RTCG portal.

In connection with Raonic's disputed statement, we offer readers a print screen of the text from the portal rtcg.me and from the portal Vijesti.

We publish Raonic's reaction to the ODT announcement in full and if he doesn't like something, we warn him that it was taken from the RTCG portal.

"I read with disbelief the reaction of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT), which was based on disinformation published by ND Vijesti, and published on their portal last night after my interview on RTCG.

Although ND Vijesti, as well as every citizen who has access to YouTube, has the ability to view the recording of my interview, which clearly shows that the statements made are not true, I am witnessing a tendentious and deliberate manipulation of this information. And not the first time!

However, I ask the question: is it possible for a serious institution, such as ODT, to base its views on the propaganda of a media outlet, against all logic and rules of professional conduct?

This is an essential question, and that's why you should have sent the response to this content that you sent to me to ND "Vijesti", which spun my statement. It is known to the public that you have a habit of closely cooperating with that media and of sending them announcements even before you publish them on the official website, but you - for the sake of the profession and for the sake of the truth! - you had to at least watch the show or read the text on the RTCG Portal in order to react. Gentlemen, if you collect evidence for indictments and indictments in this way, the members of the RTCG Council have also done well.

By simply looking at the interview, which you can also watch on the YouTube channel of the Public Media Service, you will come to the irrefutable conclusion that I did not say that the prosecutor who filed the indictment had contacts with organized criminal groups, but that individual prosecutors who acted in this subject had such contacts. Also, I presented the source of that information. If the prosecution is interested, the details can be found in the files of the case that was previously formed against the so-called of the Kavac clan. If by any chance they don't have those materials – which would be absurd! - I am ready to deliver them to them. In those materials there is evidence of my claims. If the ODT still insists, we can present those materials to the public, given that the details are already known to the prosecution. If you organized your work in the right way, you wouldn't have information leaking out and you wouldn't find out who you called to encourage them to respond. Finally, if you know your job, then you know that you can form a case based on information from the media, so in that case invite me to give a statement, which I would be very happy to do.

Also, sending information to one medium before others and writing a press release based on their interpretations clearly supports my thesis about unprofessionalism and tendentiousness. I regret that, like some of your predecessors, you are bringing young, talented colleagues into this position, on whom this situation will leave an indelible mark on their future careers, regardless of the legal roles they take on.

Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG) respects all the institutions of this country and is a partner to all bodies that perform their work professionally and honorably. Your accusation, however, will inevitably be debunked in court, and after that I will point out what you have done at every opportunity. This is not the first time that political processes have been carried out, and history has placed every such process in its place, which we see even today in closed institutions where certain actors have their place. For this reason, communication with you in the future will be the kind that institutions that perform their work in the way you do deserve.

And finally, there is no need for you to encourage me to file criminal charges because my associates and I are here to investigate and report, and you to prosecute the perpetrators of various criminal acts. That is why on this occasion I encourage you to do it without political, media or any other pressure and I am convinced that we will be a much better society in which artists, winners of the Thirteenth of July awards, rectors, professors and accomplished professionals in their work," Raonic said in response.
