The director of the Institute of Marine Biology received the highest salary in the public sector in October.
According to data from the Ministry of Finance, which published a list of the 1.000 highest earners in the public sector, he received a net salary of 5.565,94 euros in October.
The second on the list of 1.000 highest earners is a full professor at the Maritime Faculty in Kotor with a net salary of 4.616,77, followed by the head of the Meljina Clinical Hospital Center in Kotor with a net salary of 4.464,84.
Fourth on the list is another employee at the Institute of Marine Biology - a research associate who received 4.270,44.
Fifth on the list is Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković with a net salary of 4.123,33.
