The Center for Training in the Judiciary and the State Prosecutor's Office and the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution concluded a Cooperation Agreement, it was announced today from the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
The announcement states that the agreement was signed by the President of the Management Board of the Center for Training in the Judiciary and the State Prosecutor's Office, Liljana Lakić, and the Executive Director of the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Maja Golović Vojinović.
"The agreement on cooperation between the Center for Training in the Judiciary and the State Prosecutor's Office and the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution aims to achieve a joint contribution in the field of justice, especially in terms of promoting and improving the Institute of Mediation in Montenegro," the announcement states.
Lakić emphasized the importance of signing this agreement for the judicial system and the training of judges, prosecutors and other relevant lawyers, and how cooperation with the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution will help develop their skills in the field of mediation.
"The center, as a national training institution in the judiciary, has recognized the importance of improving knowledge in the field of mediation. By establishing this cooperation for continuous training of judges and state prosecutors, we have taken a step forward in raising awareness of the benefits of alternative dispute resolution," added Lakić.
Golović Vojinović pointed out the importance of signing this agreement, which she said will contribute to the efficiency of the judicial system and enable the strengthening of the mediation institute in Montenegro.
"This agreement contributes to better coordination between the two centers, which enables the exchange of knowledge, experience and resources, as well as joint work on projects that will advance the development of the judicial system. Both centers will work together on the training and development of judges, prosecutors and other legal experts in the field of alternative dispute resolution," concluded Golović Vojinović.
The press release states that the signing of the agreement was also attended by Maša Adžić, Acting Director of the Secretariat of the Center for Training in the Judiciary and State Prosecutor's Office, and Violeta Majić, Head of the Department for Alternative Resolution of Family Disputes, Disputes in which one party to the dispute is the state or local self-government and insurance disputes.
