Digitization of society as a whole, in accordance with the most modern technologies and international standards, is one of the key strategic commitments of the Government, announced the Minister of Public Administration, Maraš Dukaj.

"Montenegro is on the path of accelerated digital transformation. We have invested significant efforts in the development of e-services, improving the interoperability of registers, and the application of modern technologies that encourage innovation. However, we are aware that we still have a lot of work to do," said Dukaj at the IT Spot conference - Shaping digital Montenegro, which began today at the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica.

As reported by the Ministry, he emphasized that digital transformation is a joint venture.

"There is no alternative to the cooperation of the private and public sector, the academic community and international partners in this business," added Dukaj.

According to him, digital transformation is not just a technical process, but a key change that shapes the way administration, institutions and citizens communicate and collaborate.

"GOVTech, as a combination of technology, innovation and the public sector, represents a tool that can redefine public administration, making it more efficient, transparent and closer to the needs of citizens," said Dukaj.

Dukaj encouraged all those present to build a network of cooperation during the conference.

"Every idea, no matter how small it may seem, can be crucial for our common goal - creating a digital Montenegro, which is ready for the future," said Dukaj.
