The University of Montenegro (UCG) has launched the procedure for the selection of deans of the Faculties of Economics, Law, Philology and Medicine for the period from 2025 to 2028.
UCG said that the procedure was initiated due to the expiration of the mandate of the current dean of the Faculty of Economics, Mijat Jocović, Aneta Spaić of Law, Igor Lukić of Philology, and Miodrag Radunović of Medicine.
It is stated that the competition for the selection of the dean will be published in the UCG Bulletin and in a daily newspaper published in Montenegro.
"Applications for the competition must be submitted within 15 days from the publication of the competition in the daily newspaper," the announcement says.
At today's session, which was presided over by Milivoje Radović, the Board of Directors also agreed with the proposal of the UCG Senate to expand the list for admission to master's and doctoral studies at two faculties.
"Specifically, the list has been expanded for two candidates for the master's applied study program Management at the Faculty of Economics for the academic year 2024/25. year", says the statement.
It is added that candidates have passed the entrance exam as a condition for enrollment in master's studies.
It is stated that the proposal of the Senate to approve the enrollment of three candidates for doctoral studies in the economics program was also adopted for the same faculty.
"Also, a proposal to expand the list for one candidate for doctoral studies from the study program of history at the Faculty of Philosophy of the UCG was adopted," the announcement says.
The UCG stated that the enrollment of an additional number is proposed within the permitted license capacity, taking care not to jeopardize the quality criteria of the teaching organization.
They said that at the session of the Board of Directors of UCG, other agenda items were discussed within the regular business of the University.
