In the southern parts of Montenegro this morning, traffic is mostly on dry roads, and in the north on partly wet roads due to snow, the Auto Moto Association of Montenegro (AMSCG) announced.
The AMSCG said that, due to the low temperatures, it is possible to encounter ice in the higher areas and over the passes.
They warned of the increased danger of landslides on the sections that pass through the cuts and advised drivers to drive cautiously, adapted to the weather and traffic conditions.
AMSCG reminded that the Law on Road Traffic Safety stipulates that from November 15 to April 1, vehicles participating in traffic during winter conditions (snowfall or when there is snow, ice or ice on the road) must have all wheels have winter tires.
The minimum tread depth of tires used in this period is four millimeters.
On the regional road Đurđevića Tara - Mojkovac, in the town of Sokolovina, traffic is suspended for all vehicles due to a rock fall as part of the rehabilitation of the critical point of Sokolovina.
On the main road M-2, section Poda - Berana and Ribarevina - Poda, traffic will be suspended from 12 am to 14 pm and from 16 pm to 30 pm and XNUMX minutes, due to reconstruction. Passing by those times, traffic alternates in one lane.
On the main road M-3 section Plužine-Jasenovo Polje, locality Zaborje-Jasenovo Polje, traffic is suspended from 12 am to 13 pm and from 15 pm to XNUMX pm, due to excavation of slopes and construction of embankments.
Traffic on the regional road R-19 Mateševo - Andrijevica, at the Trešnjevik pass location, is suspended from 11 a.m. to 13 a.m. and from 16 p.m. to XNUMX p.m. due to asphalting.
Due to the reconstruction of the regional road R-29 Bar-Kamenički most-Krute, traffic will be suspended from 11 a.m. to 13 a.m. and from 15 p.m. to XNUMX p.m.
Traffic on the main road M-2, on the section Lepenac - Ribarevine, has been changed from two-way to one-way due to reconstruction, and occasional suspensions of no longer than 30 minutes are possible.
On the main road Nikšić-Vilusi Phase I, on the part of the Nikšić-Kuside road, traffic has been changed from two-way to alternating due to reconstruction.
