The union of elected doctors demands that Vuković answer the residents as soon as possible

The union of elected doctors asked the Minister of Finance, Novica Vuković, to respond as soon as possible to doctors on specialization, who requested an increase in fees for separate living.

"Vijesti" announced at the end of October that more than 200 doctors on specialization asked the authorities to increase the fees for separate living from 108 and 333 euros to more than 600 euros.

"The elected doctors' union expresses dissatisfaction with the bad practice that the Ministry of Finance seems to have taken over from its predecessors. Over 200 resident doctors signed a petition to increase funds for separate living. The colleagues found support from both the current Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Fund As we were informed by the representatives of colleagues who are on specialization, only the Ministry of Finance did not answer whether funds for increased separate life were planned and approved," the president announced. union Igor Ljutica.

"Considering that both the Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Fund have given full support to the most vulnerable doctors currently in the system, the question arises whether the Ministry of Finance is turning a deaf ear not only to the demands of the white coats, but also to the proposals of its colleagues, which would raise suspicion in the quality work of the complete system. We had this kind of practice of disrespecting health workers and not responding to letters from the previous Government, and now also from the current Ministry of Finance from such a bad policy and to respond to fellow residents as soon as possible," the announcement reads.
