The company "MM System" sews on itself the label of devastator with its actions, while for reasons known only to them it misleads the public and accuses us of doing it, Stevan Nikčević, Milan Nikčević and Vujadin Nikčević announced today.
They were reacting to the fact that the management of the company "MM System" announced that on December 2, it filed criminal charges against Stevan Nikčević, Milan Nikčević and another person employed in the Municipality of Nikšić to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Nikšić, who, as they say, "continuously works to cast a shadow" on that company, its operations and, above all, on the director of the company, Milan Erbez.

The Nikčevićs, in a response sent to the News today, said that since the company MM System needs to inform the public about its activities, including the filing of criminal charges against the locals who are protesting because the disputed waste grit was deposited by that company in the settlements of Kličevo and Straševina, they they want to react to their post and ask some questions.
"As they said, it is true that they have permits to deal with waste processing, even though the Environmental Protection Agency has never publicly announced a solution allowing them to process sandblasting waste, known as grit. How do they explain that in the only solution that is publicly available, it says that they submitted the request on 05.04.2024/23.02.2024/5 and the same was approved on XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX? How do they justify the fact that according to the decision they had permission to store and process until XNUMX tons of waste per day, and they exported hundreds of tons per day from the shipyard?", Stevan, Milan and Vujadin Nikčević state in response.
They added that referring to one of the previous statements of "MM System" that "all the non-hazardous waste they process by mixing it with fractions, turns it into a material suitable for filling roads, making asphalt, concrete and applying a cover layer on landfills", and there they have question.
"At what exact moment did they process that waste? Because according to the driver's testimony, they brought the waste directly from Bijela to the mentioned locations. Which is confirmed by the results of the investigation carried out by CETI, because the parameters were almost identical in Bijela and in Staševina. Since they claim that they have all the necessary permits, where are the permits to deposit this waste on the plots of the Municipality of Nikšić and the Railways of Montenegro? If everything was correct, why did the environmental inspection order them to remove the waste from the mentioned plots?" said Stevan, Milan and Vujadin Nikčević.
According to them, after the inspection order, "MM System" filed a complaint and it was rejected by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North.
"Although the appeal did not postpone the execution of the decision, and the deadline was mid-September, they did not remove the waste until then. According to the agreement with the Municipality of Nikšić, they were given the opportunity to remove the waste themselves, but in the meantime the Environmental Protection Agency changed its status, classifying as non-waste, so that it could be used as cover material at the Livada landfill cable car, we have to say that this statement is completely incorrect, because not only was the disputed material not removed and the land returned to its original state, but the embankment along the railway line was removed to cover the remaining material. as well as the truth in this case, we also provide the newsroom with photos from the plot managed by the municipality, where the excavation was carried out according to the request of the environmental inspector removed, as it was said before, it is just covered," said Stevan, Milan and Vujadin Nikčević.
They also stated that if it is public knowledge that "MM System" took over 4.900 tons of waste, "and we have a confirmation from the Livada landfill that about 1000 tons were brought to them, what untruths did we present in the report broadcast on TV Vijesti?"
"We are waiting for a call from the acting prosecutor, so that we can present to him the knowledge we have about this case. So if it is a criminal offense to announce the truth and present facts that the public already knows, we accept any punishment. From the announcement of this company, it can be concluded that their image is important and that they present themselves as damaged, and not the damage they caused in their city.And in the end, we conclude that this company sews on itself the label of devastators with its actions, while for reasons known only to them misleads the public and accuses us of doing it," concluded Stevan, Milan and Vujadin Nikčević.
