The portal for the reimbursement of wages for maternity and parental leave started working on Wednesday, and on the first day of work, significant interest was recorded, with 61 employers registered, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography announced.
The government department said that the porodiljsko.gov.me portal provides employers with a modernized and digitized system for submitting requests for reimbursement of salary benefits.
"Already on the first day of work, significant interest was recorded, with 61 employers registered, including those with the largest number of requests for refunds, which confirms the need and importance of this solution," says the announcement.
It is stated that the key advantages of the portal are the possibility of submitting a request online, monitoring the status of the case and downloading the solution digitally.
This, as they said from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography, avoids the need to physically come to the institutions.
The department said that in this way administrative processes were significantly accelerated, while the costs and time of employers were significantly reduced.
As they stated, with the introduction of that portal, the business environment received a modern tool that facilitates the daily activities of employers.
"Digitalization of procedures not only contributes to efficiency, but also raises the level of transparency and availability of services, which users already recognized as a significant advantage on the first day," the announcement says.
